Cars That Never Made It

Hi All,

Nothing to challenging this time –  a look back in time to the 1950’s and the cars that never made it to production. Some are really out there and I’m sure straight out of the Jetsons, some are very elegant and some reflect a time when the world was in a state of change. World War Two had not long finished. The next generation were pushing a rebellious attitude and were challenging the status quo of conservatism.

Television was not long introduced. A guy name Bill Haley and his band the Comets released a song called “Rock Around The Clock”. Music had changed forever and a genre called Rock & Roll was born. The civil rights movement was gathering momentum in America. The times where a changing.

And so was the American automobile industry – Happy Days.

    • Yes what a great looking car Dave
Reminds me of an early Corvette in some ways.
I loved the 52 Chrysler D’Elegance & the Cadillac Gia coupe
Probably a little in front of their time.
